WCB regulation (12.9, 12.72) requires all chainsaw operators to have proof of legislated training.

Our Chain Saw Operator Course is designed to educate and reinforce operator responsibilities.

COURSE OBJECTIVES

To provide the chain saw operator with:

- the skills to operate a chain saw safely

- an understanding of the components, maintenance and handling characteristics of chain saws

- an understanding of safe handling of fuel and tools used with chain saws

- an ability to perform a daily maintenance and safety check on your chain saw

During the course the operator will:

- receive theory and practical instruction

- complete a test on theory and practical

- receive a workbook and writing materials

- receive coffee and donuts

Upon successful completion each student will receive:

- a diploma

- a photo ID certification card

Requirements:

- an understanding of English

- steel toed boots
